Those Days...
Remeber those days those days where they who lead us provided hope and optimism
a prerequisite of governemnt ? a responsibilty of government?
what is life without hope and without optimism?
a grim reality of fear a grim reality of anxiety.
So many now know no such days they are the fearful the anxious
we who remember those days well we are the disapointed.
Spring...
A season of new beginnings, a season of urgent lust, a season of excitment
an awakening, a renewal of colours, a statement of hope
with grim determination our environment once again fights its own good fight
the wilfully ignorant forever raising the bar, come on environment its spring how high can you Jump?.
The Slice of Pizza...
It was the slice of pizza that started the trouble
there we were sitting outside at the Gage Roads Brewing Company, lunch time
up to that point everything was calm almost serene a beautiful day by the shimmering water
who would have thought a slice of pizza could create such unrest
that slice of pizza tossed away by another patron
all hell broke loose as a dozen seagulls contested the prize.
Dangling...
Cut him down they cried, cut him down
The voices gathered the shouts, the urgings
The voices inside his head deafening
It was really simple in the end
He reached for the knife and cut himself free
First Light Walk (during a heatwave)...
Nothing was said there was no talk
We just carried on with the familiar walk
The warmer it got
The slower we moved
The slower we moved
The longer it took
The longer it took
The warmer we got
The warmer we got
The slower we moved
A cat at number 7 changed everything.
The Man In Charge Of The Bore Water Clock...
Not for him a walk at first light
The pungent obstacle course,
Eau de Bore, i do abhore you
The man in charge of the bore water clock?
Well he is known as many things
In my personal view today? he is a bit of a cock.
Dew Of The Sea
Magnetic, spiritual
Taste, smell, vision, tempting, irresistable
Being close, sublime
Magnetism building, unending
I shall embrace her and kiss her one day, it is inevitable.
Running away to Nannup
The dew of the sea spoke to me
"lets run away to Nannup" she said
"oh yes" i replied "lets do it"
I realised we had already run away to Nannup, we were there
No one knew where we were, no one else could see us, no one else could hear us
I had tasted her, i was high, i wanted more
I knew there was so much more to come, it excited me
I shall wait, impatiently, i want to taste her again when we are next in Nannup.
Living With Hobbo
Eleven years of living with Hobbo
I didnt really care
It wasnt as if he was literally everywhere
Eleven years of living with Hobbo
I didnt really care
But it did begin to wear
Eleven years of living with Hobbo
In the end i started to care
It felt to me that it just wasnt that fair
Eleven years of living with Hobbo
No one knew no one had a clue
It was simply eleven years of living with Hobbo.
